Lentil Soup
1 lb lentils
4 carrots, diced
1 onion, chopped
3 celery sticks, diced
1 tablespoon chubriza​*
salt
pepper
8 cups water
​
* Chubriza is a Bulgarian version close to Herb de Provance. You may substitute it with any of the following dry herbs or combination of them: oregano, basil, thyme, parsley, marjoram and alike.
placed all ingredients in a soup pot, bring to boil and cook till lentils are soft, about 45 minute
