Braised Red Cabbage
red cabbage
salt.
red onion
1 granny smith apple
vinegar
sugar

Slice red cabbage very thinly.
Place in a bowl, mix with salt.
Saute red onion till translucent.
Rinse the cabbage to remove the salt.
Add to the onion.
Add the grade a granny smith apple.
Saute on low heat till cabbage soften.
Add vinegar and sugar to taste.
Continue to saute till cabbage is soft, mix occasionally.
